Pinturas Negras is Jornada Del Muerto’s second release and represents their musical interpretation of Francisco Goya’s series of “Black Paintings”. The blackened screamo act have managed to capture a beautifully dark and worrisome atmosphere with anxious filled bursts of aggressiveness. Progressing greatly instrumentally and in songwriting since their already incredible debut record, and having Pete Grossman on board to mix and master, the album clearly holds a high quality standard.
Limited to 300 copies on amber vinyl with a beautifully made lyric + illustration zine.
